Final Point Foundation, under the dedicated leadership of its Lead Mentor, Mr. Kushtain Aburof Mustapha, has organized an Academic Tenacity Mentoring Program for selected schools in the Bole District. The initiative was held in honor of Mr. Ibrahim Mahama—visionary founder and Chief Executive Officer of Engineers & Planners and owner of Dzata Cement—whose impactful leadership continues to transform lives across Ghana through the Hero Book Project 2025.

On the 13th and 14th of May 2025, more than 600 BECE candidates took part in the mentoring sessions at the Bole Assemblies of God Church. The program focused on equipping students with essential learning skills, developing a growth-oriented mindset, and promoting Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) as a viable option after the BECE. It also highlighted the dangers of drug abuse and encouraged students to adopt positive role models for their personal development.

Between 18th and 23rd May 2025, a total of 2,000 copies of the Hero Book Project 2025—titled “HOW TO BE A BETTER STUDENT” and branded in honor of Ibrahim Mahama—were distributed freely to all BECE candidates, non-candidates, and teachers across the 15 Junior High Schools within Bole township.

The branded booklet serves as an additional learning resource designed to inspire students to improve academically, commit to a drug-free lifestyle, and look up to Ibrahim Mahama as an exemplary role model.

One of the student beneficiaries, Alhassan Aminatu Alelemato from Kurabaso JHS, expressed her appreciation for the program, noting that it will significantly support them in preparing for the BECE. She added that receiving the hero book from Ibrahim Mahama has strengthened their motivation to keep studying.

Mr. Yusuf, a teacher at St. Kizito’s JHS A who participated in the sessions and helped coordinate the book distribution, described the initiative as enlightening for both teachers and students. He noted that featuring Mr. Ibrahim Mahama on the cover, along with his personal message, has had a powerful inspirational impact.

The Bole Municipal Director of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Mr. Richard Achinani Sepaga, also conveyed profound gratitude to Final Point Foundation. He stated that the entire directorate appreciates the Foundation for selecting the Bole District for such a meaningful program that mentally prepares students for the upcoming BECE.

According to the Executive Director of the project, Mr. Kushtain, mentorship paired with books that highlight inspirational leaders like Mr. Ibrahim Mahama—complete with his message and image—has the potential to positively transform students’ lives. He emphasized that this initiative is their modest way of celebrating him as a national hero.
